1. Who we are
Propled (“we”, “us”) provides freelancer proposal and invoicing software at propled.com. We are the data controller for information you provide when using our service.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, company name, and hashed password.
- Business data: client contacts, proposals, and invoices you create in the app.
- Usage data: server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps for security and abuse prevention.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the Propled service.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts).
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4. AI features
The AI proposal writer uses the Anthropic Claude API. Your project description and client name are sent to Anthropic's API to generate proposal text. Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to that data.
5. Data storage
Your data is stored on servers within the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@propled.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use only functional cookies required for authentication (a JWT stored in localStorage). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
